How CareFall Care Works
Peace of mind for you and your loved ones
Stay connected. Stay protected.
CareFall Care is designed to keep people safe both at home and anywhere in the UK — without relying on landlines, base units, or traditional in-home lifeline systems.
Unlike standard lifeline pendants that stop working once you step outside, CareFall Care provides continuous protection whether you’re at home, in the garden, at the shops, visiting family, or simply out for a walk. Your safety doesn’t end at your front door.
Our service supports independence for the wearer, while giving families, carers, and care organisations full visibility, accountability, and peace of mind.
The CareFall Care SOS Device
CareFall Care uses a compact, wearable SOS device with built-in mobile connectivity and GPS support. It works anywhere in the UK and does not require a home base station or landline.
The device is simple to use, discreet to wear, and designed for reliability — with a long-lasting battery and a single SOS button for emergencies.
What happens when SOS is pressed?
If something unexpected happens, help is just one button press away.
When SOS is triggered:
- The device immediately begins calling the wearer’s chosen emergency contacts (added via our app or website)
- If the first contact does not answer, the system automatically moves to the next — continuing in order
- Contacts must press 1 to accept or 0 to reject, ensuring a real person actively confirms they are responding
- (voicemail and no-answer are automatically detected)
- The system completes a full escalation cycle at least three times
- If nobody answers, the alert is automatically escalated to our admin support team, so no emergency is ever ignored
Everyone connected to the device receives instant alerts, and authorised users can call the device directly to speak with the wearer until help arrives.
Full Call Escalation Tracking & Incident Reports
Every SOS event is fully logged from start to finish.
CareFall Care records exactly what happened, who was contacted, and how the emergency was handled — creating a clear, auditable incident trail.
For each SOS event, authorised users can see:
- The exact time the SOS button was pressed
- Which contacts were called and in what order
- Who answered, who declined, and who did not respond
- The time each call was made and answered
- Whether the alert was escalated to the admin support team
- When the incident was resolved
After every incident, a downloadable PDF incident report is automatically available. These reports are ideal for:
- Family reassurance
- Care home records
- Safeguarding reviews
- Compliance and audit purposes
Reports can be viewed online or exported at any time, providing clear evidence that alerts were handled correctly and responsibly.
Shared Care Journal & Ongoing Communication
Care doesn’t stop once an emergency is resolved.
CareFall Care includes a shared care journal — giving families, carers, and care organisations a single, trusted place to record notes, updates, and important care information.
The care journal provides a joined-up view of a person’s care over time.
Families and care providers can:
- Record care notes, observations, and updates in one shared timeline
- Add follow-up notes after SOS incidents
- Communicate clearly about changes in routines, care needs, or preferences
- See what support was provided, when it happened, and by whom
- Maintain a clear record of incidents, actions taken, and outcomes
This improves continuity of care, reduces confusion, and gives confidence that everyone involved is aligned and nothing is missed.
Simple to set up. Ready to protect.
CareFall Care devices arrive ready to use straight out of the box.
